  • David will share his story of living as a hippie in his van and the terrorist attack that inspired him to join the Israeli army as a lone soldier. Following his near death experience during combat, he was led on a journey to discover his Jewish roots and love for the land of Israel. 

    This event commemorates  "Yud Shevat" , the  Lubavitcher Rebbe OBM's  ascending leadership 70 years ago.

    The yearly lecture is sponsored in part by  Sandra and Michael Weitz  in memory of Sandra's mother, Helen Lubliner (Chaya bat Yisroel OBM) and Michael's father, Karl Weitz (Avraham Kopel ben Arye OBM).
